Shelby Castaneda

Project Engineer

Shelby joined the NCC PE Development Program in 2026 after graduating from Norwich University with a B.S. in Construction Management. In his new role, he provides critical support for several large-scale multi-family housing projects, in both field and office operations.

Shelby’s core responsibilities include submittal and shop drawing processing, bid package development, and project scheduling. In addition to his education and professional career, Shelby has served as a US Army Combat Engineer in the Vermont National Guard since 2022.

Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Vermont’s local food scene, mountain lakes, and ski slopes.
