NCC has recently been selected by Camp Treetops and the North Country School as the CM on this sustainably focused project located in Lake Placid, NY. NCC’s interest and experience in high performance and sustainable construction is perfectly matched with the team at Maclay Architects and the North Country School, as the project team collectively explores Net Zero, Living Building Challenge, and Passive House Certification standards.
The new performing arts center will host spaces for education, gathering and performance, with a focus throughout on sustainability and campus community. Natural daylighting, building envelope design, passive and active solar systems, and healthy material selections will all contribute toward meetings these goals.
This project is currently in Design Development with an anticipated construction start in the Spring of 2018.
