Project Engineer / PE Development Program

DESCRIPTION:

Start your career with a unique opportunity. The NCC PE Development Program provides you with an excellent opportunity to advance your career through diverse, hands-on field and project management experiences. Our Development Program allows you to grow into your desired professional role through a wide-range of unique and challenging project experiences.

Your role includes the immersion in the full life cycle of projects, where you will engage in all aspects of a project from pre-construction through post-construction closeout. This team-based experience includes opportunities to explore project management, field management, and project engineering rotations.  Training and skill development will focus on project documentation, quality control and safety program support, project information flow, trade and vendor support, scheduling and overall project coordination. The goal is to develop individuals that are an integral part of the project team and provide a critical support role for Superintendents and Project Managers.

Participant Profile

Andrew Chrusciel grew up in a family of residential construction contractors, and graduated from Roger Williams in 2010 with a Construction Management degree. He joined a large contracting company in Washington state after college, but moved to Vermont for quality of life and other reasons. Andrew was hired in 2013 by Neagley & Chase and joined the Project Engineer Development Program where he has been able to work on a number of challenging and diverse project types, from start to finish.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Field experience a plus
  • Good communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
