This 23,000 SF manufacturing facility for King Arthur Flour utilizes a number of energy efficient features. Solar tracking skylights, combined with daylighting technologies, maximize natural light and minimize the use of electricity in the warehouse portion of the facility. A highly-efficient building envelope further supports a focus on low energy costs. As an SQF-certified facility, specific attention was given to certain details of food processing, such as easily cleanable and durable building surfaces — a challenge when packaging flour.
In 2015, Neagley & Chase received Metallic Building Company’s Award of Merit for the King Arthur Flour facility.
