New construction of 25 units of affordable housing for the Windsor Community.
A new, 25-unit affordable housing development is completed in downtown Windsor, Vermont, a collaborative effort between the Windham & Windsor Housing Trust and Evernorth developers. This multi-story project offers a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, all within walking distance of downtown amenities. Designed with high performance, durability, sustainability, and great design in mind, this infill project was built to last.
Its location on a sloped, tight downtown site presented unique challenges, requiring extensive pre-planning. This included a CAP plan for brownfield remediation, the development of new site access, and careful coordination of utility relocation.
