Smith Building

Burlington, VT

Towering over the corner of College and St. Paul Streets, this sandstone landmark was a grand city bank in its heyday. Using parts of the original carved-wood and brass bank teller windows discovered in the building’s cellar and preserving the still-intact safe and stained glass, we restored the stately bank back to its original appearance and modernized all of the HVAC and electrical without damaging the fragile interior details.
