State of Vermont Welcome Center

Guilford, VT

This post-and-beam framed welcome center is the first thing visitors see when they drive into Vermont on route I-89 from all points south. Reminiscent of the barns that dot the New England landscape, the center’s remote location limited our access to subcontractors and supplies, and posed the challenge of keeping the wood dry through the winter construction. When it was complete, it quickly garnered regional and national recognition.
